Let's Bring Lillian Home

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lillian.  Lillian came to Paradise to live with her daddy. Lillian loved living in Paradise. She attended Anna Maria Elementary School until she aged out. She made a lot of friends, gained a brother, and learned to love playing on the beaches and watching sunsets. Lillian's Daddy loved her so much. He spent every waking hour devoted to making Lillian happy.  Lillian would visit her Mommy every year, but always could not wait to return to Paradise, where her friends, dog, and Daddy eagerly awaited.  Yes, Lillian chose Paradise as her home, and her Daddy as the one she wanted to live with.  She preferred to live in Florida than way on the other coast of this country.

Life was blissful until the  Judge entered the picture. The Judge called Daddy into court. Daddy believed that the legal system would let Lillian stay where she wanted to be. Unfortunately, Daddy was wrong. The Judge made a bad decision and ordered Lillian across the country, away from her friends, family, and those she loved the most. The Judge did this during a School Break, so by the time Lillian learned she was going to be forced to move, she wouldn't even get a chance to say goodbye to all of the people she loves in Paradise.  If this fairy tale were to end here, Lillian would not get to have her own Happy Ever After.

The legal system DOES make mistakes. Those mistakes can often be righted through appeals. But appeals cost a lot of money, and Daddy pretty much exhausted his Rainy Day fund fighting to keep Lillian here.

I am setting up this fundraiser to help Lillian Benn get her Happy Ever After. If Daddy Jason Benn is going to have any chance of righting this wrong, he will need money to pay a team of the best lawyers. And we all know lawyers do not come cheap.

Please open your hearts and your wallets and donate what you can so that Lillian Benn can have her Happy Ever After. Every $5 adds up. Consider skipping a drink at Happy Hour and donating the money you would have spent to Lillian.  ALL funds raised through this campaign will go towards the legal fees associated with the battle to get Lillian back to her real home.  This is a little girl who loves living here and wants to complete her schooling in Manatee County. And Jason is a loving Daddy who wants to help his Little Lion get her happy ending.  He is a wonderful father who wants to continue providing a loving home for his little girl, but will not be able to do so if he cannot fund the fight that is ahead.

They say it takes a village to raise a child. We have a fantastic village that has done a great job of raising Lillian thus far. Let's help in the fight to keep Lillian exactly where she would like to be.  We can do this by helping Jason fight the battle that lies ahead.
