Help Principal Darby & NCHS

Principal Henry Darby is nothing short of a hero, on top of working full time as North Charleston High School's Principal he decided to pick up a second job working at Walmart.  This decision was not for personal gain, quite the opposite actually. The hard earned Walmart paycheck that he collects after working 10:00pm - 7:00am three nights a week goes directly towards his low-income students and their families. This man selflessly sacrifices three of his nights each week in order to help others.

After reading an article dedicated to him in the Post and Courier News site, I felt the need to create this GoFundMe in hopes that the Charleston community will come together to join Principal Darby in his crusade to support those in need. This is a completely independent fundraiser not directly associated with the Charleston County School District or North Charleston High School.  All funds raised will go directly to Principal Darby, to be distributed to his students and their families who are struggling. 

Hopefully the donations are sufficient enough so that Principal Darby no longer needs to sacrifice his free time and can get some well deserved rest.

As a full time student at the College of Charleston, Principal Darby's work ethic and selflessness is truly inspiring, he motivates me to be the best and hardest working person in the room. Principal Henry Darby is an exemplary man & citizen, he is the perfect role model for the younger generation to look up to.
