This old man’s name is Louie. Louie has been in my life for 10 years now and he’s been through every strife and heart ache I’ve had. He is an incredible dog whose love has known no boundaries or limits to any humans. Those who have met him can attest to this as he’s left an impression on everyone. Everyone has always said they have wanted a dog just like Louie as he’s set the standard for many years. Unfortunately time is never kind to any of us and his time of need has come and we want to give him our best as he’s done for us and all the other countless folks he’s encountered and loved. He’s been escalated up to UC Davis for treatment which is an extraordinary program but at a higher cost. Our primary vet’s main suspicion is that he is immunocompromised and that an active infection is causing his troubles. There’s suspicion of malicious tumors as well that may be causing the present issue. Our hope is not only to help fund his treatment but to tell his story so that he may live on even if all is for naught.
