Hi my name is Anna Digan , I am thrilled to share my upcoming venture with Action Ireland Trust—a volunteer trip to Lesotho with my school, Portmarnock Community School. Lesotho faces significant challenges, from extreme poverty to health issues like AIDS, and lacks essential resources like water and sanitation.
During this trip in March, our group, consisting of students, teachers, volunteers, and construction workers, will actively participate in projects. From
constructing and maintaining water systems to building accommodations and offering music, sports, and arts workshops, we aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of the local community and children.
