Eagle Scout fundraiser for Leslie W Wicks Memorial

Hello! My name is Kevin Stevens. I am a Life Scout of Troop 56 in Wilmington, MA. I am looking to raise money for my Eagle Scout project: a memorial stone and garden proposed to be built at Yentile Farm Recreational Facility. This memorial will be built in honor of Leslie W. Wicks, a Seaman from Wilmington who fought in World War ll in the Navy as part of a Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron. Wilmington is a Purple Heart town, meaning it excellently commemorates and honors its veterans. Many soldiers who lived in Wilmington are honored by the use of a stone with a plaque outlining the veteran's information. The total cost of this project is valued to be around $4500, and any additional money that is raised will be given to the Wilmington Veterans Committee for future projects and memorials. Thank you!
