Hello, my name is Joseph, and I’m reaching out to share something very personal and close to my heart. My grandson, Leo, is a sweet and loving 5-year-old boy with special needs who has recently experienced a life-changing tragedy. His father, Tony, passed away suddenly due to complications from pneumonia. His death came without warning, and it has left our entire family devastated.

Tony was an incredible father. He loved Leo deeply and was fully dedicated to his care and well-being. The bond between them was beautiful to witness. Losing Tony has been a tremendous loss, not only emotionally but in terms of the day-to-day support and love that Leo received from his father.

Leo has unique needs that require consistent, specialized care and attention. In the wake of this tragedy, we are now in the process of transitioning him into the home of my daughter, where we are doing everything we can to create a stable and nurturing environment for him. This transition is both emotionally and logistically challenging, especially given Leo’s needs and the suddenness of these circumstances.

As a family, we are committed to ensuring Leo receives the therapy, resources, and care he requires—not just now, but long-term. However, the costs associated with his care, therapy, and support services will be significant. We want to give Leo the best possible chance to thrive despite the heartbreak he’s already endured at such a young age.

That’s why we are humbly reaching out to others for help. Whether through emotional support, financial assistance, or simply sharing our story, every gesture means the world to us. Our goal is to give Leo the love, care, and opportunity he deserves, and we believe that with the kindness and generosity of others, we can begin to rebuild a life full of hope and support around him.
