My littlest boy Leo Giovanni Horner was an angel from the moment he was born. Our baby boy was diagnosed with a terrible condition called hydrocephalus. which we wish on no one. The doctor fears for his basic motor skills as he grew older. My baby's head was filled with fluid, preventing any brain growth. And there is no cure for his condition also doctors and specialists have no idea what causes such a birth defect. My son's neurologist said if he could make it to one year old he would have a better chance of living a couple of years but ultimately his life expectancy is cut to a few years of age if he surpasses his first year. Leo had one of the worse cases because his brain only developed the brain stem, which limited his abilities. Since he was born he was a hospice patient and was at high risk of 6 months. Although he was born with this condition, his father and i never looked at him as so. our son's little eyes would cross every time we kissed his nose. His little hands would squeeze so tight to the point Daddy wants to arm wrestle. Every little smirk we have seen was the most precious gift we hold close to our hearts. every coo was the most exciting sound we ever heard. There were a lot of doubts when he was born but we never doubt how perfect he was to us and forever loved and forever in our memories. Our son our angel Leo Giovanni Horner.
