Leon Martinez

Hi I’m Thomas along with my sisters Starla and Samantha, we are asking for help from our friends and family to aid in our father’s recovery. Our dad, Leon Martinez, had a heart attack on Sept. 13th and has been in the ICU fighting for his life.

We are so thankful for everyone that has kept him in their thoughts and prayers. Along with everyone who showed up for our family. He’s a fighter and every day he is getting stronger. Today (September 18th) he was weaned from sedation fully, woke up and was removed from the ventilator. Though the progress has been HUGE the road to recovery will be a long. My mom (Janice) has been by his side day in and day out through this whole catastrophe and will be out of work for the foreseeable future to aid in his recovery. Our dad is a freelance multimedia artist. We are rooting him on until he’s back in his studio working on custom art pieces.

My parents have helped so many people along the way in so many different forms. We hope to be able to do the same for them.
