Leobardo Valiente's Surviving Children

On Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 10:55am, we lost our beloved father, Leobardo Valiente, due to complications from COVID-19. He leaves behind seven children: Karina, Nancy, Cristina, Melissa, Julian, Alex, and Karol. He passed away at the young age of 55.
His battle began in early April when he started to show Covid-like symptoms. He was later admitted to the hospital on April 16th when he was having trouble breathing. On April 23rd, he was moved into the ICU unit and was intubated shortly after. Fortunately, we were able to visit our dad and his siblings were able to see him as well. Our dad fought hard for two weeks, but was ready to rest. We take comfort in knowing that he didn’t go alone as his children and family were by his side the entire time.
Our dad was a great man with an enormous heart. He cherished the days when he was with his family having a carne asada and drinking a cold beer. He loved Spanish love songs, and fishing. His family was his entire world. He was a hardworking man who strived to provide a better life for his young children.
Our dad, Pelon, is survived by seven children, three of which are under the age of 17. We would like to ask for any contribution toward our dad’s surviving children. These contributions will help them secure the life that our dad worked so hard to provide them with.
During these difficult times, we want to thank everyone for their continuous prayers over our family. He was so incredibly loved, and will forever be missed.

Su batalla comenzó a principios de Abril cuando comenzó a mostrar síntomas similares a los de Covid. Más tarde fue ingresado en el hospital el 16 de Abril cuando tenía problemas para respirar. El 23 de Abril, lo trasladaron a la unidad de ICU y poco después lo intubaron. Afortunadamente, pudimos visitar a nuestro papá y sus hermanos también pudieron hacerlo. Nuestro padre luchó duro durante dos semanas, pero estaba listo para descansar. Nos reconforta saber que no fue solo, sus hijos y familia estuvieron a su lado todo el tiempo.
Nuestro padre era un gran hombre con un corazón enorme. Apreciaba los días en que estaba con su familia comiendo carne asada y bebiendo una cerveza fría. Le encantaban las canciones de amor en Español y ir a pescar. Su familia era su mundo entero. Era un hombre trabajador que se esforzó por brindar una vida mejor a sus hijos pequeños.
