Hello, my name is Marisela Holguin and I am Leo Jaquez’s mother. On September 20th, 2019, Leo was eating dinner at the papa johns on central and Yale near UNM when a man and woman sitting  in front of him started arguing, the man grabbed her arm and pulled her outside. Leo finished eating and when he was walking outside he had seen the man throwing and beating the woman, Leo tried to ask the man what was wrong and try to calm him down, the man replied with shooting Leo in the chest and he ran away. He left Leo behind and Leo died instantly. Leo was saving a woman’s life and unfortunately lost his.. and no cops or ambulance arrived until more than an hour later.. we are asking from anyone, to please help his family with family expenses being that he left behind 4 children. We also ask to please keep him and his family in your prayers. Leo is leaving behind 2 beautiful daughters and 2 sons. Anything will help thank you, God Bless.
