Welcome! This GoFundMe has been launched to help raise funds for

building maintenance, capital improvements, and program expansion at the Bodega Bay Grange!

About us: Located in a small coastal village in beautiful Sonoma County, the Bodega Bay Grange was founded by local fishermen in 1952. In keeping with the tradition of husbandry established by our founders, we are dedicated to being responsible stewards of our coastal region, and promoting a strong and vibrant community through our volunteer work. We serve Bodega Bay in diverse ways as a community gathering place, and as a critical resource for disaster relief.

We are the primary American Red Cross emergency shelter on the Sonoma Coast, and in 2026, we completed the renovation of our kitchen, which is now a certified commercial kitchen, capable of preparing hot meals for anyone seeking refuge in emergencies such as wildfires or earthquakes. (Many thanks to all the donors who helped in this earlier campaign!) Our bathrooms have recently been updated and are now ADA compliant. We’ve also updated our flooring, and completed interior painting, and are now focused on installing new audio/visual systems… Every improvement makes such a big difference! And you can help us continue in these efforts…

Our vintage building is circa 1953, and it is in need of ongoing repairs and updates. The exterior of our building is due for new siding, dry rot repairs, patching, and a fresh paint job. Our old windows need replacement. We must complete regular maintenance, certification and permitting in our commercial kitchen. Our storage room needs to be updated and finished with drywall and built-in storage solutions. We hope to display local historical photos in our small hall. Our landscaping needs some TLC… The list goes on! These building improvements are needed so that we may continue to serve the community as a gathering place, and emergency shelter. We also hope to raise funds for our high school scholarship program, and we are always considering ways to expand our reach to the Bodega Bay community, by adding new services, activities and events. Every dollar you donate will be used to help us serve this special community.
