My name is Alaceya Golden. I am raising awareness for my father’s house fire. But let me introduce him first. He is a father, brother, son, uncle, cousin and a grandfather and anyone who knows me knows how much he believes in family, community, and taking care of one another. Because he is also a friend. Over the years, he has dedicated himself to giving back—organizing food drives, clothing drives, block parties, and doing whatever he could to support the neighborhoods that raised him, his family, and friends. 

Today, I’m humbly asking for some kindness, a helping hand in return. His home recently burned down, and he lost everything he owned. Even his 2 loving dogs passed away and took a lot of hope with them. He is grateful to be alive, but unfortunately is  starting over from nothing. Any support—whether it’s financial assistance, clothes, shoes, or housing resources—would mean more than we can express.
