Lend Jeff a helping hand

Jeffrey is a loving, compassionate father of three, known for his kind heart, generosity and sense of humour. He is well-known for his selflessness and dedication to his friends and family as he would go out of his way to help them. Jeff is the sole income earner of the family. Hence, there is a significant impact on the family's living stability and continuity. All proceeds will help with the family's needs while supporting Jeff's recovery.

Jeff had a haemorrhagic stroke and was in a coma for almost two weeks, and we were told he'd be in a long-term vegetative condition. Our whole family was devastated, stunned enough not to be able to provide any further updates to relatives and friends after. We kept quiet for a while as we carefully tread day-by-day with only positive thoughts, hopes, and prayers.

So far, he has regained consciousness and is in continuous recovery. He has shown improved cognitive skills and could recount memories up to the moment he fainted. He can produce sounds and can change his voice pitch. He can now hum along to a song and can utter some sounds, seemingly trying to communicate at his best. He's been able to sit for a short time and shown split-second ability to stand with assisted balance. The right side of his body is still extremely weak, and he needs to work a lot on his speech.

There's still a long way to go, but we're no longer in the darkest part of the tunnel. There will be a lot of hard work, which may take time. While all medical bills are covered, we are about to enter another phase of unknowns, and therefore, we decided to start this fundraising campaign for those who have been expressing intent to send financial donations. All proceeds will help with the family's commodities while supporting Jeff's recovery.
