Welcome to the Go Fund Me page for Tom and Jeanette Jeffreys. Tom and Jeanette are grateful to have excellent health insurance to cover the medical expenses related to Tom's battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis that has lead to the need for a double lung transplant. All related appointments before and after transplant will be covered, although there are and will be out of pocket expenses associated with this journey. The funds raised will be used to help offset the cost of lodging, gas, meals, parking and other services needed while Tom is an inpatient at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit as it is required that Jeanette or another family member be at (or near) the hospital for the first 21 days post transplant. The post transplant rehabilitation program will also be at HFH Detroit. Please know this financial cushion will be greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance for your help.
