Lend a Hand to a Mother Facing Postpartum Burnout

Hello everybody. I am creating this space to call in financial support for my children and myself as we undergo a drastic transition within a very challenging time.

I have a beautiful 8-year-old daughter and 10-month-old son. Over the course of the last year, all of my previously committed support systems fell through, leaving me to stressfully pivot.

In compound, I lost my full-time job. I am also coming out of a separation with my recent partner who is unavailable to commit to consistent support at this time. And I am expecting my third child some time in July.

I am working incredibly hard to prepare for future changes and the insuperable responsibility it will require of me. I have pivoted to take odd jobs where I can find them. I have curated my skills and crafts to continue my self-employment work from home. I am also a full-time online student pushing through my degree, aspiring to secure my career path with a livable wage.

Yet in all of my efforts, I am unable to keep up with life’s demands simply because I am juggling what is made for 2, 3, or a whole village of family. To say that I am experiencing postpartum and pregnancy burnout is a massive understatement.

My goal is to raise funds to help assist ease during this challenging and very isolating time of my life. Any funds raised will go towards basic monthly needs including food, household toiletries, living expenses, the children’s diverse recurring needs, shelter, and the like. Any overflow of funds will support my prenatal, birth, and postpartum care including childcare so that I can commit to full-time or consistent work while pregnant.
