We are Javain, Luke and Melesa Wilson, born and raised in Portland and St. James, Jamaica, and currently residing in Canada.

In the wake of Hurricane Melissa's recent devastation, which has left many in our homeland displaced and without basic necessities, we have committed to bringing aid to the people in the Western Parishes of Jamaica. Our goal is to reach communities who are marooned by the hurricane's effects and who may not be receiving adequate attention. It is heartbreaking to witness citizens sleeping without a roof or on the roadside, children lacking basic needs, and elders exposed to such vulnerabilities.

As members of the Jamaican Diaspora living in Canada and the United States, we are reaching out to seek your assistance for this worthy cause, one that will definitely save lives and help restore safe housing for our people.

To aid in the rebuilding of homes, our immediate goal is to purchase;

* 2 pallets of plywood (120 sheets)

* 50 sheets of zinc roofing

*1 bundles of lumber

*20 Tarpaulins

Our people are struggling and in dire need of shelter.

• Non perishable food items

• Sanitary items (pads, wipes, pampers, toiletries)

• Cleaning products

• Clothing (in good condition)

• School supplies (bags, shoes)

* Tools, power banks, flashlights, batteries etc.

Together, we can help rebuild Jamaica stronger despite any obstacles. No matter how small the contribution—a single dollar can save or change a life. We will personally travel to Jamaica, and with your contribution, we'll purchase the materials need. We will be physically building and repairing homes; Thus, we want you to be a part of this effort.
