IFK Legacy CIC was set up to create a memorial to Lemmy of Motorhead in his birth town of Burslem, Stoke on Trent. To this end, and with Singerman Entertainment, we commissioned Andy Edwards [ creator of the world famous Fab 4 Beatles statue on the Liverpool Pier Head] to create a statue in bronze

The statue is done and unveiled on 9th May - what a day

Even though we say so ourselves the statue is absolutely fantastic [ images provided of the statue in progress]

The next stage of the project is to create a 21st Century venue in Lemmys name that will benefit the community in Burslem.

A meeting was held with the Council on 29th May and we have a tentative agreement from them to proceed with our vision.

The chosen building is the semi derelict Queens Hall [ just behind Lemmys statue location]

Whilst we are starting the journey and process of procuring the building and the necessary large scale funding there is a need for initial funding to pay for surveys and initial design fees. This why we need the Lemmy and Motorhead communitys help
