Leitrim Volunteer Centre

Leitrim Volunteer Centre provides support to Volunteer Involving Organisations in the county through training and development. The Centre also supports and encourages volunteering in Co. Leitrim and helps Volunteers to find suitable placements. We believe that people can fulfil their potential through volunteering and that volunteering contributes to healthier and more resilient communities. We work to support, promote and celebrate volunteering. We do this in many ways, working with a variety of stakeholders.

• Not for Profits - We provide training and Capacity Building to Volunteer Involving Organisations.

• Events and Festivals – We organise Volunteers for large-scale events and festivals.

• Vetting Service – We work with the National Vetting Bureau to provide a vetting service for Volunteer Involving Organisations.
