Leilani 22 week old Miracle baby

Hi, I’m Shantel Allmon and I’m here on behalf of my babygirl Leilani Perez. At only 22 weeks i woke up to my water breaking. First initial thought was I was having a miscarriage since it was so early. Being rushed to my local hospital I was then informed that I was in Pre term labor. Scared for my baby’s life the drs recommended Vcu hospital for the best chances of Leilani making it. After about 30 hours of intense pain and trying to prolong my labor. The drs decided it was time to get her out. Her survival rate was very low considering she was born so early. After 4 long months with a few mishaps my babygirl was finally able to come home. No of this would have be possible without the great team at Vcu nicu. Y’all did such a great job. Also a special shout-out to her primary nurse Morgan. Leilani got so attached to her and made my experience at Vcu very welcoming. Although my miracle baby is doing great. Just asking for a little help to finish getting a couple last min things I couldn’t get since I’ve been out of work since she was born.
