As many of you know Leigh is a cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer in 2015. And while she miraculously and bravely overcame this disease, doctors were forced to remove one of Leigh’s ovaries as well as her uterus, in order to save her life. This has left Leigh unable to conceive and carry her children on her own.
Undeterred by these hurdles, Leigh and Phil sought the help of assisted reproductive technologies to create their family and successfully created healthy embryos via In Vitro Fertilization. The final step in their journey to building a family is to utilize the help of a surrogate to carry their embryos to life. The costs associated with surrogacy are upwards of $70,000. This is a heavy burden placed on Leigh and Phil who have already faced cancer and IVF costs in the last few years.
We ask that you please consider helping this beautiful couple achieve their dream of having children. This page has been set up on their behalf, as they have not asked for help, but would so greatly appreciate any and all assistance. Thank you so much for stopping by!
Also please take a moment to check out the beautiful video timeline of Leigh & Phil’s journey, created by Leigh’s mom Lynn.
