Hello, we are Legend and Michelle Bullard. We got married back in fall 2020. Excited to start our adventures together and grow our family. In that time we have grown our family with three amazing cats and one absolutely adorable puppy who is always trying to play with his smaller fur siblings (the cats not so eager for his excitement).

We spent our first 2 years of marriage trying to have our first child thinking it will happen in time. In that time we went through three heartbreaking miscarriages before we decided it was time to see a fertility specialist.

We spent almost a year looking for answers and every time we felt one step closer, we always ended up empty handed or with more questions than answers. After consulting several specialists, countless lab tests, and the feeling that we would never get any answers; we found out Legend has a rare genetic condition that increases the chances of stillbirths and miscarriages. Specialists recommended we proceed through IVF(in vitro fertilization) with PGT (pre genetic screening) to have the best chances at becoming pregnant with a healthy baby.

Since then we did a lot of homework and spent a lot of time saving money for this process because our insurance will not cover the cost of IVF and its numerous tests you must go through. Once we were in a position that we were finally able to proceed with stage one of the IVF process we were so excited! We were finally on the right path and all our patience and determination to become parents seemed so close for the first time since we started looking for answers. We truly had hope again. We could finally see the light at the end of the long tunnel. Everything went smoothly and we went back home thinking this is it we can finally start the family we’ve been dreaming of. Only for us to find out that none of the zygotes were usable due to health risks.

We were utterly devastated by the news. Not only did we get sent back to the beginning of this process but we had spent so long saving enough money to afford everything and it was gone just like that.

Now we are left hoping and praying that some people are willing to help us in another attempt to go through the IVF process and help us achieve our dream of becoming parents. We appreciate every one of you that is willing to help us even if all you can do is share this with others it truly means the world to us.
