I am raising funds to secure a family court lawyer so I can pursue sole custody of my children and give them the safe, stable life they deserve. Their other parent was previously abusive and is now in and out of their lives while leaving me to protect and provide for my children on my own. Navigating the legal system without proper representation puts our future at risk, and I cannot do this alone. The funds raised will go directly toward legal fees so I can advocate for my children’s safety, stability, and well-being in court. 

We have been to court before, and joint custody was awarded at that time because I did not have legal representation and did not fully understand how to present our situation. Since then, circumstances have not improved, and I remain without a local support system. I need court approval and the other parent’s consent to move out of state so my children and I can live near my family, who can provide stability, emotional support, and practical help. Having an experienced attorney is essential for me to properly advocate for my children’s best interests and finally secure the safe, supported environment they deserve.
