This is the story of Arabela and how she came into our lives. In the summer of 2020 Arabela was born to a woman who is a friend of one of my sister's. At the time of her birth her biological mother gave her up to my sister, which was apparently the plan all along during her pregnancy. Her birth mother and my sister had an agreement that Arabela would be "given" to her at birth. Shortly after she was born Arabela came to stay with my wife and I. Days turned into weeks and weeks into months. My sister exercised little possession and even less care, custody, and control when she did have her sporadically during those first few months of her life. From July 2020 to the end of August 2020 Arabela was home with us 5 to 6 nights a week and beginning in September of 2020 she was in our home most every day through February of 2021. That month we filed an intervention into an adoption that my sister isn't even legally qualified for to begin with. Since March of 2021 we have done everything we can to bring Arabela home where she belongs. We were the first parents she knew in this world. The first people she called mom and dad. My sister and her husband have done everything they can to lie and stall this case from proceeding, even going as far as lying to Arabela's ad litem attorney stating that my sisters husband was given the "blessing" to be unfaithful to her and "make a baby" with Arabela's biological mom for them. Stalling the case proceeding to claim that he was the actual father. Arabela deserves to come home. Where she belongs. Our lawyer has fought hard for us but due to unforeseen circumstances, we must seek new counsel for trial (health reasons). This is the first time many of you have heard Arabela's origin story. I know many of you may have thought I was Arabela's biological father or that Tonia was her biological mother, but that is not the case. Everything I have stated in this story is public record within the court record. It has been stated under oath and it is all truth. This is how Arabela came into our lives. We will never give up on her. We humbly ask that you assist us in this fight with anything you can spare. Bela has always had an army behind her and we call on you know to show everyone just how much support this precious little girl has in her corner. Currently, my sister has been withholding our visitation and is in contempt of our court orders since the beginning of January 2024. We pray the courts make this right.
This has never been about us. It has always been about Arabela and what is right and best for her. Most everyone has seen that. Some have not.
Thank you. I'm happy to answer any questions you might or receive any advice you may want to share directly with me (903) two86-twozerofiveone.
