Legal Fees to reclaim land for Ag educators

We could use your financial support to help us restore a treasure to our community.

The current Fairfield County Agricultural Extension Council (FCAEC) wants to return to the days when people from the community enjoyed the Extension Center grounds to participate in various activities. Such as:

• Bethel Farmers Market

• Master Gardening Certification

• Community Nutrition classes

• Gardening events

• Dog training classes

• Food insecurity programs

• 4-H activities

• Youth fairs

• Urban agriculture programs

to benefit the surrounding communities.

For our continued existence in Bethel to benefit Fairfield County, we need to quickly raise funds to restore ownership of the land to FCAEC. Stony Hill Preserve has current possession of the property we once controlled and has limited its use, and is attempting to break a 60-year relationship with the Educators.

Any extra funds received will be utilized for our continued support of the Fairfield County Extension Educators.
