Legal fees for my Brother's Custody battle

Hi, My name is Heidi Clayton, and I am starting this fundraiser to help my brother Matt Clayton in his fight for access to his two beautiful children Rhett and Ruby. Matt's ex-girlfriend of 10 years, and the Mother of their children, has continued to restrict Matt from being able to be an active Father in their lives. Matthew has been a loving and caring father; unfortunately, his ex has allowed her feeling of hate to overpower what is best for the children.

Over the past two years, they have had a long, drawn-out legal battle to arrange custody. All the while, his Ex has routinely harassed my brother, his employees, his friends, his family, and any child care he has hired. Her harassment went as far as threatening bodily harm to a minor who was babysitting the children at the time, as well as threatening to burn his and the children's home down. We are now fearful that her mental state is not stable, and she may cause emotional damage to the children.

Finally, Matt was able to have his day in court, and the court determined a custody agreement that gave him joint custody establishing a visitation schedule for both parties. However, within a month of the court's custody agreement, his Ex violated the agreement by refusing to deliver the children. She did so even when approached by state police to aid in the facilitation of the exchange.

Her blatant disregard for the law and her children's clear love and bond with their father has taken an even more tragic turn as she has just illegally moved them out of state over 2000 miles from Matt.

Part of the strategy to keep the children from Matt is to create long legal battles which drain any extra funds that my brother has, hoping that a lack of funding will stop his fight for his children.

Please help my brother by giving any amount you can so that he may fight for his rights as a loving father, and to give his children access to a parent whose main prerogative is to provide a safe, happy and healthy home.
