Hamburger Mary Sues Florida Governor over State Senate Bill 1438 - Protection of Children

After much consideration, the owners of Hamburger Mary Orlando have decided to file a lawsuit against our Governor for signing Senate Bill 1438 - Protection of Children.

This bill has nothing to do with children and everything to do with the continued oppression of the LGBTQ+ community.

Whenever our legislators want to demonize a group, they claim they are coming for your children. In this case, they are creating a false narrative that drag queens are grooming and recruiting your children, without any factual basis or historical evidence to support these accusations!

Our transgender friends are being vilified because our legislators will not take the time to understand the importance of gender-affirming care for these individuals. With depression and suicide rates high, it can mean the difference between life and death.

The state is taking over our educational system and removing any books, courses, or content related to LGBTQ+ issues, as well as eliminating courses that include references to African American history.

When will it end?

We have made significant progress over the years. We cannot afford to regress!

We are uniting to support John and Mike and raise funds to assist with their legal fees. 100% of all donations raised will go directly to Mike and John, the owners of Hamburger Mary, who are fighting this important battle on behalf of the LGBT+ community in Florida!
