After knowing their sweet boys for 6 years, Jason & Amy are getting close to a final order for a Custody Plan. It's been a journey that God has beautifully written- though at times rocky and heartwrenching, it's led them to this point. Due to ongoing challenges with their biological family, this Custody Plan is necessary to ensure the boys’ wellbeing, safety, and security.

Ryker was welcomed into their home through foster care in 2019, with little brother Mitchell joining them less than a year later. In the years following, Jason and Amy worked hard at providing a safe nurturing environment for the boys. They were also privileged to develop a good relationship with the biological family during this time.

Even though the goal of foster care is always reunification, Jason and Amy were heartbroken to say goodbye in 2021. Family isnt defined by blood and the boys were always in their hearts, even though contact was very limited.

After several years in the system, with biological mom’s persistent request that the boys live with Jay and Amy, Family and Children’s Services agreed to support mom’s plan and the boys moved back to Jay and Amy’s home in 2024 though a kinship plan. Shortly after, the legal process of putting a Custody Plan in place began.

The legal fees and court costs are significant and we want to honour their journey with the blessing of financial help. All funds raised will go toward legal representation and necessary steps in the process.

Jason and Amy recognize that God alone is orchestrating their story, and that the boys’ presence in their home is a gift from Him. They are committed to providing Ryker and Mitchell with the safe and secure future they deserve.
