I’m currently facing an extremely high-conflict legal battle with my ex, Josh, who is attempting to have Kayce removed from my care and move him four hours away from everything he knows and loves. Josh has gone to alarming lengths in his efforts to manipulate the system and harass me. He has stalked me, harassed me, hacked my personal accounts, and even went so far as to file a false report with DSS—putting my job and financial stability at serious risk. This was not only traumatic but also a direct attack on my ability to provide for my son, who depends on me completely.

Every choice I make in life is with Kayce’s best interests at heart. I pay for everything—our rent, childcare, groceries, utilities, and all other bills—on my own. I recently used the last of my emergency savings just to secure an apartment for us and cover all the initial move-in expenses. Now, with my legal costs piling up, I’m out of resources. My attorney has quoted me $6,000 to proceed, but because this will likely go to trial, the final cost could be even higher.

Kayce is my world. Anyone who knows me knows how devoted I am to being the best mother I can be. I’ve always worked hard to make sure he has everything he needs—safety, love, stability, and a future. But I can’t fight this battle alone.
