Legal App for Domestic Violence Prevention Fundraising

Hi, my name is Cyndy Morin and I am a single mom to three (now adult) children, family lawyer and domestic violence survivor. I have been working with an awesome company called Freshly Pressed out of High River, Alberta who are building me an app which will allow users to ask a family law legal question for $5.99 and they will receive answers from 3 REAL lawyers (not AI). 100% of these user proceeds will be directly donated to an Organization called Sagesse.org (formerly known as Peer Support for Abused Women, but they rebranded to accept clients from all genders). This organization was critical in helping me leave an unsafe relationship. In our current economy charities such as Sagesse suffer as donations are not as readily available, yet it is during hard economic times that we also tend to see an increase in domestic violence cases.

Organizations such as Sagesse are key to keeping our communities safe and healthy. The ripple effects of domestic violence is vast and touches us all in some way, Sagesse is an all inclusive organization with a large outreach. The work they do is incredible, and they are on a mission to eradicate domestic violence.

I have been funding this app development project personally to date, but I have since used up all of my savings and credit and have nothing left to contribute other than a bit here and there whenever I can. I am approximately $25,000.00 short from completion, so at the urging of friends, I created this Go Fund Me plea for your help.

Please help me finish this project so we can launch on time in May 2025 and help individual users to have access to inexpensive legal information while also supporting domestic violence prevention programs through the good folks at Sagesse.org
