I NEED A LAWYER!

In 2021, I got into a MUTUAL pushing alteration with the mother of my child. At the time, the mother and I had been separated for about 8 yrs and our daughter was about 9 and a half.

Unfortunately, our altercation ended up with me getting a domestic violence charge. I included a picture of the mother injuries, this photo was used as evidence in court as I took it to trial.... I had four charges, acquitted on 3. The picture of the mother's legs, I got assault for that.

Immediately following my arrest, the mother filed for custody. We previously had a verbal 50/50 agreement. Due to me having two cases running concurrently (criminal and domestic) I did not have the funds to pay for a family law attorney. I was forced to represent myself.

As a result, I lost big time in court. Not only did the mother gain complete control, but I was ordered (in my opinion) an absurdly high child support amount. I was also ordered to attend DV classes. I have attempted to start these classes 3 separate times, but due to financial reasons and a strict attendance policy, all I have been able to get completed is a DV assessment. I have actually done 2 assessments.

For the last 4 yrs I have been trying EVERYTHING I can to get into classes but due to the child support garnishment, my paychecks end up being around $300. Leaves me with practically nothing unless I work a ridiculous amount of overtime.

I have begged a pleaded with the mother to either lower child support so I can attend classes or at least let me have some contact with my child.

She has refused both requests and now im stuck facing possible loss of drivers license and even possible jail time and I still cant see my child.

I am very embarrassed to be asking for help here, but I don't know what else to do.

i have filed a review with the department of human services, but im not holding my breath because the original support order was done when i was basically unemployed.

Im looking for money for a family law lawyer or a lawyer willing to work with me to help get this case straight. im willing to work off the attorney fees if necessary.

This is a clear case of custody via protection order as well as parental alienation.

In my opinion, this is also not only child abuse, but domestic violence as well.

Im more than happy to answer any questions you may have as well as supply any documents requested to support my claim.
