Legal Aid for Mom and Her Three Kids

I am a single Mother of 3 young children needing help getting back on my feet. We are victims of domestic violence and abuse. The children and I were cut off from all financial support when Dad left and I was still on maternity leave at the time. He hasn’t helped pay for our home, bills, or the children’s necessities. The children and I have finally found a lawyer to work with me on payments but I am struggling to be able to work, without child care and be able to afford a lawyer in order to get help in getting court orders with assistance for childcare and child support.

The first $1000 donations made will be used to pay for my retainer fee for a lawyer for the kids and I; after that anything more will be used for the kids back to school shopping expenses. My second born starts kindergarten this Fall and he is over the moon excited to be able to go to school and make new friends. After my goal of $1400 for the lawyer retainer fee and the estimate cost for the kids back to school expenses; additional funds will continue to go towards my lawyer fees and will continue going towards the children’s necessities until I am fully able to be back on my feet.
