Legal Action Against Islamophobia in Vancouver

The Muslim community of Vancouver and North Vancouver, BC (also known as Ghadir Cultural and Educational Centre) have been the target of Islamophobic harassment by a small group of people. Several hate campaigns on social media led by a few individuals have resulted in criminal activities including physical assaults, death threats, verbal assaults, stalking and defamation against the community members. RCMP has arrested several people who committed physical assaults, and they will soon be convicted in court. However, the leaders and influencers of the hate crimes should be brought to justice with lawsuits arranged by experienced lawyers.

Ghadir Cultural and Educational Centre is a registered charity in Canada funded only by donations from people and community members. The center is not connected to any government or organization inside or outside Canada. Here we ask donors to kindly contribute to the legal costs of the lawsuit to protect not only our community but also the safety of the whole muslim community in Canada.
