Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
Thank you for taking the time to hear about our heart for adoption and for considering donating to help us fulfill our calling of welcoming a new child into our home through adoption.
From a young age, I (Hannah) have felt a pull towards adoption but never knew exactly how or if it would be a possibility. After Brennen and I got married we quickly began growing our family with 3 biological children but that pull never went away. About 6 months ago we began feeling ready to consider baby #4, and God, in His sovereign goodness, aligned our hearts and we both felt strongly that it was the right time to pursue adoption. For the past 4 months we have been filling out paperwork, having interviews with social workers, and preparing our hearts and our home to welcome a new baby.
We will be adopting a newborn baby within the United States and that is all we know for now. It will be up to the expectant parents to choose us as the ones they want to raise their child. We hope to have an open relationship with our child's birth family and raise our child to know that they were chosen twice, first by their birth family and then by us.
The expected cost of our adoption will be $50,000-$60,000. God has already provided for us in miraculous ways which is why we are only looking to raise $10,000. We know that while not everyone is called to adopt, many feel called to help others adopt, and we are so thankful for that calling. Any amount you donate will go directly towards the adoption costs and will be such a blessing to our family.
While financial support is wonderful, we would also appreciate prayer.
1. Pray for the support, protection and health of the birth mother and family that we are matched with. That they would feel overwhelming peace during this difficult time. We also pray that they would have a desire to have an open relationship with us.
2. Pray for the logistics of traveling to pick up our baby when the time comes. Due to COVID and hospital restrictions we will be leaving our children at home and will likely need to be away for at least 1-2 weeks if the baby is born out of state.
3. Pray for patience. There is so much unknown with adoption, we could be matched within days, or it could be a year or more until we are able to bring our baby home.
Thank you again for taking the time to consider praying and giving. If it were not for the support of our family, friends, and church, none of this would be possible. We are so grateful for all of you.
Sincerely,
Brennen, Hannah, Sage, Nora, Jack, and baby Leftwick #4
