The last few years have been quite a roller coaster for my husband Aaron and me. Since starting our journey to have children we have endured 12 early pregnancy miscarriages. After visiting a specialist it was discovered that I have a blood clotting issue and it was preventing each pregnancy from continuing past a few weeks. Before going on, I need to say that my husband and I have a strong faith in God and it is this faith that has kept us strong and positive through each loss. We definitely had our share of sadness but knowing God has an ultimate plan and many prayers from family, friends and our own, helped us to remain encouraged that God's timing was best and he would bless us in his time with a child. In April of this year we discovered yet again that we were pregnant and were elated as we now knew of the blood clot issue that was preventing the earlier pregnancies from moving forward and there was a solution. We immediately contacted the specialist and I was placed on a daily medication to prevent blood clots from forming. All was going quite well. At our 12 week appointment we received some exciting yet daunting news... I was actually pregnant with twins!! However, it appeared that they were conjoined at the chest and so began the amazing, miraculous journey over the last several months. An enormous amount of prayers were dispatched to heaven on behalf of us and our little miracles from so many Friends and family. Thanks to the wonder of the internet even prayers from those we have never met petitioned God to move miraculously in our situation. We feel so incredibly blessed to have so many prayers cried out on our behalf and to be the vessel God chose to bare these miracle babies. Our specialist here in Tallahassee felt that we would best be taken care of in Tampa Florida at the Tampa General Hospital where they have better suited facilities for dealing with exceptional pregnancies such as ours. On our visits to Tampa General they have discovered that our two little girls share a single heart as well as a liver. At the time of writing this I am currently 29 weeks pregnant and our girls truly are miracle babies surviving on their one irregular formed heart that continues to have a regular heartbeat. We have been informed of all the complications that are involved with this pregnancy and all possible outcomes, some of which are gut wrenching to think about. However, we choose to remain positive and lean on our faith that whatever God's will and plan is for this pregnancy it will be best.

My husband and I have chosen to create this account to help alleviate some of the travel expenses of making multiple monthly trips to Tampa and in the near future as the delivery date approaches, even longer and more frequent visits. Any assistance you provide will also go towards care for the girls after birth. We are so thankful and ask that you pray for God's perfect plan and the strength for us to accept it no matter the outcome. May God bless you and yours.

Sincerely,

Aaron and Sarena Lee
