Lebanese Athletic Relief Project

I am a high school sophomore traveling to Beirut, Lebanon in December during my school break, to construct basketball courts and distribute sports equipment (jump ropes, soccer balls, nets, etc.). I am in contact with 2 schools and one public park in Beirut to help underprivileged children who have been severely affected by the port explosion and fires that destroyed a good portion of the city. Conditions in Lebanon have further deteriorated during the global pandemic, and I believe these children really need something to take their minds off the struggles and trauma they have to deal with. Throughout my life, I have found sports to be an escape in difficult times. I wish to share this passion with those who need it. Since I am doing this effort by myself, I am soliciting your support. Any donation is greatly appreciated, and will be used to purchase 3 basketball hoops, other athletic equipment, shipping, in addition to the cost of preparing courts,  such as digging foundations for hoop poles, pouring reinforced concrete, and painting the court.
