We are an approved not for profit (501(c)3) organization composed of a group of college students, with the common goal of supplying senior citizens with their grocery/pharmacy needs during this global COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, as the need arises. Deliveries are free and items are paid for upon delivery. We take all necessary precautions in order to prevent the risk of infection. We stay up to date with the CDC recommendations. The organization was first established in Orland Park, IL and has grown nationwide since.
We built this organization off the mission of providing a fee-free service. Although, we are providing a fee-free service we have many fees as an organization.
The funds raised will help us offset the cost of operating expenses including government filing fees, background check fees, credit/debit card transaction fees, Facebook marketing, etc.
The additional funds raised will go to benefit the volunteer for gas expenses. Also, our goal is to set up a fund, for all chapters, to purchase groceries out of so volunteers are not using their own money. Additionally, we hope to provide food for those in need, cost-free.
We are extremely thankful to be able to provide this service to our high-risk groups. We want to continue to grow into new communities to help as many people as possible. Thank you so very much for considering donating, your donation will be put to great use.
