Momentum Dance Maui Fire Relief Fund

The Momentum Dance Maui Fire Relief Fund is a cause that provides financial support for dance classes for children of families who lost homes, jobs, or businesses due to the Lahaina Wildfires. Many of you know my deep connection to dance and how much dance means to me. Especially when I have gone through hard times like the loss of my brother Andrew and the loss of my hometown in the Lahaina fires, dance is a way I used to express myself without having to say anything. This can make dance something that is even more important for children who have lost everything from the fires. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to be at Momentum Dance Maui (MDM) for countless hours every week, and it brings me so much joy to be able to spend so much time with all of my friends and teachers who motivate me to be my best self. My Bat Mitzvah is taking place around the one-year anniversary of the Wildfires that destroyed countless homes and burned all of Lahaina town to the ground. As we pass the one-year mark, we must remember that although that day is behind us, the damage that is caused will live on for many years to come. Donating is just as important as it was last year. Supporting this cause can give other kids the same opportunities I have and help grow their love for dance.
