I’m Taking the Leap — For Violet Pathways - A Celebration of their 1st Anniversary Supporting Mums & Birthgivers
Begining of August, I’ll be jumping out of a plane over Cornwall (yes, really!) — all in support of a cause that truly matters to me: Violet Pathways, a Community Interest Company that supports mums and birthgivers with their mental health across Torbay, South Hams, and Teignbridge.
These incredible women volunteer their time to offer care, compassion, and mental health support to mums and birthgivers from the moment of conception through to two years postnatal. That’s two full years of dedicated, ongoing support during one of the most intense, emotional, and life-changing periods anyone can experience.
They do this out of pure commitment and heart—giving up their own time to be there for others when it matters most.
Without this kind of support, the future for many women could be incredibly bleak—with mental health struggles often going unnoticed, untreated, and made worse by isolation. Violet Pathways steps in where services are stretched and makes a real, lasting difference.
I’m doing this skydive as a proud supporter of Violet Pathways, because I’ve seen the difference they make. They walk alongside people when they feel alone, overwhelmed, unheard or in crisis—and help them find strength, confidence, and healing.
So I’m jumping to raise awareness, raise funds, and raise a bit of courage too—because what they do every day is just as brave.
If you’re able to donate or share my fundraiser, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every pound raised helps Violet Pathways continue this vital work and increase the services they can offer.
Let’s lift them up—while I fall from the sky for a good cause.
