Leanne Marie Torres Scholarship

Leanne Marie Torres was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend - she was a beautiful young woman who was loved by many. Leanne was taken from us far too soon, on May 8, 2021, at the age of 24.

 

Leanne enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and she loved to dance - she was vivacious, intelligent, and a joy to all.  To honor her memory and celebrate her life, Leanne's family and friends are creating the Leanne Marie Torres Scholarship for $1,000.  As an honor student, STEP dancer, and graduate of Seminole High School, the Leanne Marie Torres scholarship will be awarded to a Seminole High School student who has participated in any of the Seminole High School dance programs and comes from an impoverished background. We are hoping to award this scholarship to a current Seminole High School senior in May, 2022.

 

There aren't any words to describe the pain of losing a loved one, especially when they were so young. All we can do is move forward as best as possible, with fond memories and lots of love in our hearts. Please help us to keep her memory alive, share our love for her, and her love of dance, by helping us create this scholarship in her honor.
