Leah and Bernie's adoption journey

As we start a new year, I wanted to give an update to our friends and family. Although 2023 was not the year for us to find a new family member, we did make some progress that I wanted to share. This year we connected with 3 expectant mothers, 2 of which stuck with us to term. Though these 2 women did end up changing their minds, we were able to support them emotionally and help them feel capable and strong in mothering their babies once the decision was made. One had a handsome boy, and the other a beautiful baby girl. These two moms were found via social media and the support of our village, so all the comments and sharing have not been in vain. I appreciate all your thoughts, prayers, and other beautiful and meaningful contributions to this process. Please continue to share, pray, and send good thoughts this way for 2024.
