I have sat back the last decade watching Tina's extraordinary TESTIMONY unfold before my eyes. I am always encouraged by her perserverance and trust in God through the craziest trials.
In 2010 Tina's 20 year marriage fell apart due to addictions, causing Tina and her two teenage daughters to be on their own. That same year, Tina was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and had to have her thyroid removed. She had to have two more surgeries to fix complications to her vocal cords from the first surgery.
A month before Tina's surgery, She and her girls became HOMELESS. They were able to do some house sitting, and then did some camping part of the summer to make the most of it. Eventually, they were able to rent a couple of rooms in a house they shared.
Now, Tina and her girls have been living in the current rental for 5 years and the unexpected has happened.
The owner of the rental has SOLD the house and they have to be out of the house on July 29th! There is a drastic shortage of rentals in our town and the rental prices are outrageous! Tina was able to get in to see a mortgage broker and is pre-approved to BUY a house! Which will be less costly than renting - Praise the Lord!
This is where we all come in.......
She needs a gift of $6000 for the down payment.
For everything Tina has endured and done for all of us through the years: touching our lives, making us laugh, and inspiring us by her relationship with God....
James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perserverance. Perserverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
God calls us to take care of the Widows (single women) and orphans. I hope that you can find it in your heart to BLESS this family with a life changing GIFT. Lets show them how much we LOVE them and ENCOURAGE THEM financially!
