As access to affordable healthy food and community space becomes more difficult than ever to access, we are facing huge cuts to our funding due to the reckless tuition hikes the Quebec government has ordered. Our funding is tied to tuition and Concordia University is expecting up to 30% less enrollment next year which means 30% less (roughly 80,000 $) funding for us.

This means we will have to make major cuts to our services and staffing if we cannot access other funding.

We are currently cutting spending wherever we can, working on diversifying our funding through grants (get in touch if you have any grant expertise and you would like to support us by helping us with that), and planning to move to a more affordable location but we need funds to get us through this unpredictable and difficult time.

We are an essential community hub providing crucial services and very much appreciate any support.
