Hello my name is Melissa, I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my little sister. A few years back we moved to the upstate NY/PA area as I started my active duty journey. I brought my sister Markita and my nephew Kam along with with me to help me with my son, and to just get away from home, and have a fresh start. She has since retained her degree as a Medical assistant, and even went to school to get her esthetician license. In doing all this she met a man she thought was different from all the others, and that would be good for her. He is her elder by 14 years but that was the last of her worries, she had fallen in love. Since then, they have had a baby girl that is now two years old. She shared how much having another child would almost kill her being that she is very high risk, she has to take blood thinners the entire time while pregnant. After getting caught cheating multiple times, he decided the only way to keep her would be to conceive a child with her. Since being with him she has been disrespected by all of his children, her son has been called a Nigga baby by one of the women he’s cheated with, she has been controlled and constantly monitored on her whereabouts, and still stayed to try and make it work. Recently, after calling it quits but still wanted to stay in the area and co-parent as adults she has been stalked, harassed, her business has been sabotaged, money stolen out of her wallet, rented home broken into on multiple occasions, spare key stolen, car wheels flatten, her own personal belongings taken out of her car and taken back to his house, grabbed by her neck and thrown out of his vehicle, lied on and accused of hitting him back after his domestic abuse. To the point where she could not catch a break she felt so unsafe she left the small town and went back home. She has since been served with papers and is in need of a lawyer. The 50/50 she tried to stay and work out outside of the courts was not good enough for him if she wasn’t in the deal. So now he has petitioned for sole custody of not only their daughter but Kam who is her son only. Please help me her her in this time of need so that she has a fair chance in this custody battle.
