Benefit to help Laura pay for the fees of the legal process to apply for US Residency.
In 2006 At the age of 16 I had to leave what was known to me as home ... the reasons and the story behind are painful and sad to remember or even to write in here with my ESL problemas ... some of you might know it and for those who don’t maybe we could have that conversation one day.
This Fall will be my 12th year in the US and hopefully we can make that be many more years but with the ability to feel like I am a human and that me and my family can live a peaceful, loving and successful life together
I dream of the day when I can walk my son through the streets where I grew up , to meet the other half of our family , to experience our culture and traditions through our own eyes and hearts
I dream about the moment where I get to unpack the journals, photos , treasures and memories of my childhood that I left behind inside of the drawers and plastic bags when I had to leave home
I dream of the day where it won’t be through my friends that I only learn how beautiful traveling in Mexico is ...
I pray for my elders to stay in good health until I return.
I have a way to do this - we just need your help.
