On the 19th of December, our beautiful kind Laura was taken from us suddenly and far too soon. Her passing has left a heartache that is indescribable. She was an incredible wife, a sister inlaw, a friend, a nurse, and a passionate animal lover whose kindness and laughter lit up every room she entered.

Laura was a dedicated nurse who spent her life helping others. Whether she was comforting patients, rescuing animals, or simply lifting the spirits of someone having a tough day, Laura gave everything she had to everyone she met. Her heart was endless, and her compassion knew no bounds, she truly had the kindest soul.

She leaves behind her loving husband Allan, young Isla, and a whole family of cherished fur and feathered babies — all rescued, loved, and nurtured by Laura with incredible passion kindness and devotion.

Now, Allan is facing the unimaginable: supporting Isla alone while trying to keep their little family of animals together and pay the mortgage on their home — all without the financial means they need.

We’ve started this GoFundMe to help ease the heavy load Allan now carries. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping Allan and Isla stay in their home, continue caring for the animals Laura adored, and find stability and hope in the middle of unimaginable heartbreak.
