In 2017, during Laura's last pregnancy, she was diagnosed with
breast cancer. Treatment was delayed until after the baby was born. She then received surgery which removed the cancer. For almost a year afterward, Laura thrived as a wife and mother. In August, 2018, her health started to decline rapidly. On Thursday, November 15th, the Lord received her to her heavenly home. She will be known forever as someone who loved the Lord and others with complete joy, always willing to lend a helping hand and never too busy to stop and
take time for her children.
I'm asking that together as a community who loved this woman fiercely that we stand behind her family that she leaves behind! I would like to raise at least 2 thousand dollars per child for their college education and if we can beat that all the better! Laura was in education and I know her greatest wish would be for her babies to be able to get the education they desire.
On top of that I'd really like to bless those babies this year during the holidays and on each of their birthdays. Would you be willing to partner with me to help these children know they are not alone? I will post pictures of their birthday parties and share the joy in memory of their mama.
A little about Laura:
Laura Marie Pryzmenski was born in Norfolk, VA on
September 5, 1986. She was known for her devotion to Jesus, love of dance, and her immeasurable passion for children. At the age of nine she lost her father, Joseph, leaving her mother, Cyndi, to raise her. Her maternal grandparents, Dr. J. Rodman and Johanna Williams, loved her very much and were extremely proud of her. She had such a heart after God, that at the sweet age of four she received the Lord as her Messiah and Savior. Even from a young age she learned to truly rely on God as her heavenly Father. She played flute and piccolo in the marching band at Great Bridge High School. One of her greatest passions was dance. She would often use interpretive dance to express her love for the Lord. She loved anything pink! And if it sparkled all the better. You could often catch her at the beach on the weekends. She was an excellent cook and loved Italian food (her husband was thrilled)! She graduated with high honors from Virginia Wesleyan College and went on to be an elementary school teacher in the Chesapeake school system. In 2007, Laura married the love of her life, Jesse, and they went on to adopt two beautiful children, Sebastian and Elianah, and were biological parents of, Abigail, Malachi and Olivia.
