Hi, I’m Greg Saia, founder of Homes With Heart.
Across Colorado, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) face two major challenges: finding stable housing and finding meaningful employment.
While many programs focus on one or the other, very few address both.
At Homes With Heart, we are building something different.
We are launching an Inclusive Employment Hub in the Littleton area — a structured fulfillment and light assembly center designed to provide real, paid work opportunities for adults with IDD in a supportive, consistent environment.
This employment hub is the first phase of our larger vision: creating an integrated housing and employment community where adults with IDD can live, work, and thrive with dignity and purpose.
Why employment first?
Because housing without opportunity leads to isolation.
Because purpose matters.
Because long-term sustainability requires earned revenue.
Because our community deserves more than dependency — it deserves participation.
This pilot facility will:
• Create structured job opportunities for adults with IDD
• Provide predictable, site-based work (no daily travel requirements)
• Partner with Colorado consumer brands for fulfillment and assembly
• Build a sustainable revenue engine to support future housing
Your support will help us:
• Equip workstations and inventory systems
• Purchase shelving and packing equipment
• Fund initial job training and supervision
• Launch the first phase of our integrated community model
Our goal of $25,000 will fund the equipment and training needed to open our doors and begin hiring.
This is more than a warehouse.
It is the foundation of a new model — one where housing and employment work together, and adults with IDD are valued contributors to their community.
Thank you for believing in this vision.
— Greg Saia
