I am raising funds to start a nonprofit organization to help people affected by the Department of Corrections. This is a grassroots campaign led by myself, someone with a loved one in prison and personal connections to others who are incarcerated. I have seen firsthand how families and communities are impacted by the Department of Corrections, and it has inspired me to take action and create real change.
The need for this organization is urgent. Families are affected tremendously, and taxpayers also feel the impact. Our goal is to provide support, resources, and advocacy for those who have been touched by the system. We want to help families navigate the challenges they face and work toward meaningful reform that benefits everyone.
The funds raised will be used to pay the fee to become a nonprofit organization, purchase office supplies, set up our website, and pay for advertising. These steps are essential to get our campaign off the ground and start making a difference. We are also seeking support to help with lobbying efforts and to retain a staff lawyer, so we can advocate for real change at every level.
We are seeking help to get our grassroots campaign launched. Everyone knows that the corruption in the Department of Corrections is deep. We want to help stop that. Any support you can give will help us take the first steps toward change. Thank you for believing in our mission and for standing with us as we work to make a difference.
