Launch a New Life for my Sister and her Children

Donation protected
Anyone who has the privilege of knowing my sister Jenny, understands that she possesses an immense capacity for compassion and dedication to making the world a better place. Her heart is boundless, and she radiates love and kindness in every step she takes.

Two years ago, Jen's life was turned upside down. In the midst of a harrowing medical ordeal that required emergency surgery, her husband shockingly served her with divorce papers on their porch while she was selflessly preparing lunch for him and their children. She was left blindsided, physically weakened, and emotionally devastated. To add to her suffering, her husband locked her out of their home, drained their bank accounts, and cancelled her credit cards.

Despite these immense challenges, Jen summoned her inner strength and resilience. She sought refuge at our parents' residence in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where she continued to prioritize her healing, both physically and emotionally, while also navigating the complex legal system in Illinois. Through it all, she retained a tenacious lawyer who has fought tirelessly on her behalf for the past two years and she subsequently, has a lot of debt in legal fees.

Jen wasted no time in filing a petition to relocate to Wisconsin, a place where she and her children could find solace and stability. The court appointed a guardian ad litem and a psychologist to assess the situation, both of whom recommended approving the relocation petition, recognizing that Green Bay would provide a healthier environment for the children. It's important to note that Jenny and her children have no family support system in Illinois.

Throughout this arduous journey, Jen has demonstrated unwavering courage and perseverance. Despite her husband's relentless attempts to undermine her, she has managed to heal both physically and emotionally. Recently, she had her day in court, a five-day trial, where she hoped to find justice and a fresh start. However, she was once again blindsided and devastated when the judge denied her petition for relocation, ordering her and her children to return to Illinois within a mere 45 days. This timeframe is even shorter due to her daughter needing to start kindergarten in just a month.

Since becoming a mother, Jenny has dedicated herself to being a full-time caregiver, leaving the workforce in 2018. She currently does not have a vehicle, and her life has been in limbo during the litigation process. Now that the court has made its decision, she is in desperate need of support to regain momentum and start anew away from her family in Illinois.

The immediate needs are clear: funds for a vehicle and furnishings to create a comfortable living space for Jen and her children. I implore you to consider investing in the future of my sister, who has touched the lives of countless others. If you are unable to contribute financially but still wish to offer assistance, please reach out to me. We are assembling a dedicated team to help with the logistics of moving, cleaning, and setting up a peaceful and secure environment for Jen and her children as they transition into this new chapter.

Additionally, if you have any leads on job opportunities, furnishings, a vehicle, or any other resources that may be of help, we would be eternally grateful. Jenny is a beacon of strength and optimism, always seeing the brighter side of life. I have no doubt that she will overcome this setback and amaze us all with her resilience. By contributing to this campaign, you will not only provide practical support but also bolster her faith and belief in brighter days ahead.

If you have made it this far, I am profoundly grateful for your time and attention. Your love and respect for my phenomenal sister mean the world to me. Please continue to send your prayers, good juju and positive energy her way, as they provide her with more comfort and strength than words can express. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
