Hello everyone. I am Larry older sister. Larry and Ava are expecting my sweet niece Gracelyn in December. Ava has had quite the journey growing this sweet baby. Gracelyn was originally a twin but unfortunately they lost the other baby very early on. A couple months down the road Ava started leaking amniotic fluid due to a small tear in her sack. She was placed on bed rest where this healed its self. During all this she has struggled with sickness having a hard time eating or even having the energy to get up most days. Now she is on her second trip/hospital stay in Columbia. Her 3rd hospital stay this pregnancy. Two of these trips/stays have been in the last week. She went to the hospital on 09/05 for bleeding and pain. This time she had gone to fitzgibbon and was discharged. Early morning hours of 09/06 she was rushed to Columbia by Larry after passing a very large clot at home. Once in Columbia lots of test were done to figure out what was going on. They were discussing a possible c-section at just 23 weeks gestation with the bleeding and the baby heart rate dropping. They discovered the bleeding was not coming from the baby and got her heart rate back up to a safe range. They then went home on 09/07. That Monday 09/08 Larry rushed Ava back to the hospital in Columbia for fainting and bad pain in her belly. They are currently hospitalized and doing testing to see if her amniotic fluid has an infection. With all this going on Larry has missed several days of work and has more ahead of them. We as a family are reaching out to ask our friends/family as well as their friends for help financially. We want to ease the load on them and make sure they don’t loose their apartment in the process of this difficult time. We appreciate anything and everything. The smallest gesture goes a long way. We would also like to ask for prayers at this time. The power of prayer is so strong. Please lift them up daily and keep pray for Ava and Gracelyn safety. We are praying for healing and strength.
